Why Ketamine therapy?

Ketamine is a safe and effective medication first used in the 1960's for anesthesia. About a decade ago, Ketamine's potential as a potent antidepressant came to light and started gaining momentum in the mental health field.  Since then, dozens of clinical trials have demonstrated Ketamine to be safe and highly effective in treating various mental health conditions such as treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, OCD, and anxiety when most conventional treatments have failed.

Fast

Common psychotropic medications take weeks to months to work. Ketamine's onset of action are observed within hours after treatment.  Ketamine's antidepressant effect has been shown to be rapid and sustained even after just a single dose.

Effective

Dozens of high-quality studies have demonstrated Ketamine to have up to 90% response rate - even in treatment-resistant depression.  Our Ketamine therapy is administered intravenously as it's been shown to be the most effective route of administration to achieve optimum benefit from treatment.

Safe

Ketamine has been safely used for 50+ years and has been approved by the FDA to treat major depression. Ketamine is currently being used by hospitals and clinics world-wide to treat other mental health conditions.

How does Ketamine work?

Ketamine works by binding on the NMDA receptor in your brain releasing a key neurotransmitter called glutamate. The activation and surge of this neurotransmitter in turn releases growth factors like brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) which acts like a fertilizer to the brain that promotes growth of both neurons (brain cells) and synaptic connections in the area of the brain associated with emotional regulation and healthy thought patterns.
